Old Business:

Lynette talked about the gift wrapping for Hospice. Lynette and Jenna took the money to Hospice Christmas Eve and got there just before they left for the holiday. She wasn’t positive of the amount but thought that is was about $379.00. Lynette was pleased with the donations and thought that the sign up sheet and her reminding everyone of there times and days made for a great outcome. Loretta talked about how she talked to everyone that came by the wrapping table to encourage them to get their packages wrapped.

Judy talked about the Giving Tree and the items that were donated to Chelsea’s Faith In Action. Her trunk was full of donated items and FIA was so happy to receive our generous gifts.
No update on the prize for the Winter Party. Judy H. will contact Joann to see if she has gotten the gift. If Joann is unable to get the gift Loretta volunteered to take care of getting the prize.

Treasurer Report— Mary Heck received the cash box from Joann. There was $129 in the box. Mary could not balance the amounts and Lynette said that she had taken $49 out of the cash box for food and forgot to put the receipt in the cash box. Mary said that would then balance the box. Mary will work with Joann some more on the balance sheet.

Crock-Pot Creations– Brenda talked about the fundraiser. It was agreed that the money raised would go to LOH. It will be $5 per entry, and then $5 for 10 samples. There will be 3 prizes, Hank said he thought George would be okay with $75, $50, and $25. Not has not been confirmed at this time but will be before the next meeting.

Charities __ It was agreed that we would do fundraisers for Hospice, Safe House, and one other charity to be named later for the giving tree proceeds. We will have a July party that will be our meeting as well as a fundraiser. More info on that to come. Shellie is going to sell tickets for a quilt raffle benefiting Safe House, she will have more info on that latter in the summer.

July Party — Teresa L. will be working on the details for this. Suggestion were made for it to be a progressive dinner, held at a park, or lake. This will also be our Christmas in July fundraiser, so
please bring your ideas for that to the February meeting.
A schedule for our monthly meeting were set with February being Loretta’s jewelry, March is a Bring and Brag, June is just a regular meeting, July will be our Christmas in July party and meet-ing, August

—November did not get assigned an extra event. If you have an idea or want to do something extra during a meeting please let Brenda know.

Rides — Lynette will be heading the rides to Saugatuck and Napoleon again this year. She is also be doing the Lipstick ride.

Shellie Guilli will be doing a ride on May 1st in support of Women Ride month.

Brenda is getting details around for the 2nd annual Women’s ride to Milwaukee. Brenda will be planning the route as well as securing lodging for those interested.

The June meeting date will be changed to the 15th so that our meeting will not conflict with the dealerships Garage Party on the 17th. Brenda will confirm that the Classic Cup is available for this time.

October 16 has been set to be our Chili and Dessert Cook-Off. We are in need of some one to head this or a group of ladies to take care of the details.

It was agreed that we would have a fall party on October 23rd. Lynn Farley is looking into a new venue, discussion is still open on this activity.

$14 was collected for the 50/50. Lynn Farley won the drawing and $7. Congrats Lynn.

Lynn invited the women to share in an event with her Motor Maids that weekend.
